In February 2008, 'Horizont' presented a two hour showcase of the Bisserov Sisters, celebrating 30 years of performance; featuring interviews, live performances and members of the Family Orchestra.

Lyubimka tours India

In September 2008, Lyubimka was invited to tour India and equipped with suitable backing music, performed at a variety of venues to showcase the best of the Sisters' repertoire.

And, of course, there was the opportunity for sightseeing at the continent's most celebrated sights!

2009 UK Tour

The Sisters toured the UK in October and they appeared at the following venues:

Friday, October 23rd - 8.00pm
International Society, William Kay House,

The Sisters made a welcome return to the International Society to start their tour.

The Sisters were delighted to return to the Festival this year in Bridlington and an enthusiastic audience were keen to join in the dancing and appreciate the performance.  They finished their set by being joined by Balkanatics who accompanied them on some popular songs.

Sunday, October 25th - 7.00pm
at St Michael's Church, Honiton, Devon

The Sisters ran a very successful workshop at the church from 3.30-5.00pm before giving a most entertaining performance in the evening.  There was a surprise finale when members of the Wessex Women's choir came on stage from the audience to give an impromptu performance with the Sisters.

15% of the proceeds went to the Kyustendil Children's Home

The Sisters gave a spirited performance, including a re-enactment of a traditional Pirin wedding ceremony, at this venue on the first floor of an historic canal building, idyllically situated next to the Huddersfield Narrow Canal.  The Sisters were complimented on a wonderful evening's entertainment as they mixed with the audience after the concert.


A tropical Invitation for 2010!

The Bisserov Sisters have been invited to perform at the Rainforest World Music Festival, Sarawak, Malaysia in July 2010.
