Lyubimka tours India In September 2008, Lyubimka was invited to tour India and equipped with suitable backing music, performed at a variety of venues to showcase the best of the Sisters' repertoire. And, of course, there was the opportunity for sightseeing at the continent's most celebrated sights! 4th International Folk Festival - 6, 7 & 8th June, 2009 with the songs of the Bisserov Sisters International guests were: Terra Mea (Sardinia) Kolot Midbar (Israel) Ged & Andrew (UK) Bob & Roy Gough (UK) further details of the performers ... 2009 UK Tour The Sisters toured the UK in October and they appeared at the following venues: Friday, October 23rd - 8.00pm International Society, William Kay House, 327 Oxford Road, Manchester, M13 9PG The Sisters made a welcome return to the International Society to start their tour. Saturday, October 24th - Midday-1.00pm Musicport Festival, Bridlington - for full details, follow the link The Sisters were delighted to return to the Festival this year in Bridlington and an enthusiastic audience were keen to join in the dancing and appreciate the performance. They finished their set by being joined by Balkanatics who accompanied them on some popular songs. Sunday, October 25th - 7.00pm at St Michael's Church, Honiton, Devon The Sisters ran a very successful workshop at the church from 3.30-5.00pm before giving a most entertaining performance in the evening. There was a surprise finale when members of the Wessex Women's choir came on stage from the audience to give an impromptu performance with the Sisters. 15% of the proceeds went to the Kyustendil Children's Home Further information from Jenny Hackett - 01404 881565 Friday, October 30th - 6.15-8.00pm Thomas Bourne Room, Standedge Visitor Centre, Tunnel End, Marsden, West Yorkshire, HD7 6NQ The Sisters gave a spirited performance, including a re-enactment of a traditional Pirin wedding ceremony, at this venue on the first floor of an historic canal building, idyllically situated next to the Huddersfield Narrow Canal. The Sisters were complimented on a wonderful evening's entertainment as they mixed with the audience after the concert. A tropical Invitation for 2010! Lyubimka holds a workshop for a choir in Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire; here explaining the text of a traditional Rhodope song.	To complete the performance, Lyubimka leads the dance while the choir follow and sing along!
